While we’ve been around since 2012, most of our technicians have decades of experience in the appliance repair field.
Here are some of the most common appliance issues we’ve seen over the years:
Electric ovens and stoves often suffer from failed heating elements, broken burners & spark modules that won’t spark.
Dirty condenser coils, damaged gaskets, overloading and more rarely faulty thermostats are the top causes of poor cooling in refrigerators.
Blocked vents are a major issue in older buildings (and surprisingly newer condos), particularly causing dryers to have no heat or long drying times. In many new condos, strata will pick the cheapest contractor who may not do the vent cleaning properly. A good idea is to get your own vent cleaning company to go over their work yearly.
Common issues with washers include not draining water, leaking, and moldy door gaskets.
Common issues with dryers include not heating, not starting, and drum not spinning.
Common issues with dishwashers include leaking, strange sounds from the drain pump, and poor cleaning performance.
Common issues with ovens include taking a long time to reach temperature, uneven heating, and elements not turning on.
There are a plethora more, and if you’d like to see the most common issues we fix for each type of appliance, please head over to our Services Page and click on the specific appliance that interests you to get a detailed list.
